Where to shoot?

I would like to spend some time shooting my .223 and 9mm.

I know there are some gun clubs around here, but I wouldn't know which one to try. Somebody at work told me about a member only range 5 miles west of St. Cloud on Highway 15, on a unmarked dirt road.

Any leads, tips?

del - tone gun club, just outside town. probably the best public range within a few ours of st.cloud.

The place you are refering to belongs to the Waite Park Rifle Club. It's a small range with 100 yard rifle range, a 50 yard pistol range and a trap range. I've been a member there for 4 years now. Do an Internet search for Waite Park Rifle Club and you'll find info about it. I'm unsure of the current membership openings. I know they were discussing a cap on membership earlier this year.

What type of .223 do you have?

DMPS (Panther Arms) is located at Del-Tone-Luth Range. They carry .223 ammo.
