If ice fishing is your hobby than this is the house you need in your fishing arsenal. This house is one of a kind, outside and inside, designed to maximize fishing space and the overall experience of being on the ice.

Features included:

- 12 easily fishable holes

- 12V Hydraulic lift on hitch and axle with inside and outside controls

- Walking tandem axle for smooth pulling on and off the ice

- 80,000 BTU forced air house furnace w/thermostat

- Sleeps 4 people comfortably, room to sleep 6

- 2 burner stove top

- Ceiling Fan with light

- 1000watt power inverter

- 4 12volt lights

- 4 110v track lights

- 300watt halogen porch light above door

- 4 openable wall windows 2ft x 2ft

- 1 openable window above door

- Steel on sides and roof. wall steel is laid on side to increase the strength of the structure

- Brake and signal lights

- Quicktach 8ft steel skis w/poly for easy pulling to those out of the way fishing spots

- Indoor portapotty

This house is only 2 years old, with the hydraulic lift being only a year old. Hydraulics were added to decrease the time to raise and lower the house from 30+ minutes to under 2 minutes from hitch to ice. The frame is made out of 2x3x1/8 inch tubing. The floor and walls are made of wood 2x3's on two foot spacing. Floor, walls, and ceiling are insulated. The furnace blows heat across the floor keeping your feet warm: wear tennis shoes, or no shoes!!, also the floor stays dry, and your holes will be ice free. The furnace also has a nonstop, high low speed option on the fan for constant heat when starting your day. This house will warm extremely fast, from 20+ below zero to 80 degrees in under 10 minutes. The barn shape design allows for high overhead clearance, along with room for a ceiling fan to circulate the air. The furnace, ceiling fan, radio or tv, and if necessary the lights, can run on 12volt current for a more enjoyable day. There is also an outside hookup for a generator for those overnight stays. The 12 hole design allows 6 people to fish comfortably and close to the ice: The house floor can sit only 7 inches off the ice so your holes can be viewed with ease, and you will have fewer lost fish!!

      Heading up to LV a week from today with the kids. Any advice for us? Staying on the West side but open to traveling if the weather permits.   The way the last few weeks have gone, might stay for good!!!

      Do have Wi-Fi in your house. Your going to need that to work with any of the cameras that send a signal and video to your phone.  Hardwire is the best but battery power workers well for about two months then you have to pull them and recharge them.  It is nice to sit on a beach in Key West and keep an eye on your house when gone! 👌

      With all the craziness in the world I’m looking at getting an outdoor security camera setup for my home. Anyone have ideas on what works well without a huge cost  and easy to do . Or is it better to go with a company to set it up.  We have recently had copper thefts in the area at farmers fields and bin sites and I know it will only gat worse as these things always do. I probably want something that hooks up to my phone as well and wondering if there is a good one with either battery life or if wired is better. Any thoughts are welcome.

      You launch on Moose Lake to get to the motorized portage. It's called Prairie portage. To get to the portage you put in at Moose Lake. From Moose you go into Newfound Lake. From Newfound you go into Sucker Lake. On Sucker is where Prairie portage is. There is a dock on the American side and on the Canadian side there is big sign welcoming you to Canada. Latourell's Resort runs the portage and the cost for the portage is $40 for a round trip.

      Nope, there are parts of Basswood that allow motors.   Entry is from Fall Lake, and there is (I think) a motorized portage.   It is really popular in the spring...
