hunting both weekends with shotgun???

my friend has multi-zone lic. so he can hunt both weekends. My Q&A is that. I am going bow hunting the 2nd when he is gun hunting in the same weekend. He has bouns tags too. Can I use his bouns tag to go deer hunting?? Would that be party hunting? I think party hunting is legal. Just want an answer by this weekend. I already when shotgun the 1st weekend and got nothing and I can't use my tag because its for the 1st weekend.

No. A party is defined as a group of people hunting with the same weapon. You'll have to tag a deer with your own license.

Is he in Zone 4? A MultiZone is not legal in 3B.

Party hunting has to be hunting with the same weapon and the same seasons covered by both licenses for when and where you're hunting.

I presume it's 4A/4B based on the 'both weekends' comment. 3B doesn't up open up for 2 more weeks.

You can have a mixed party hunting together (bow and gun) but each type weapon has to tag its own deer. In other words, your mixed party is technically two parties a party of bow hunters and a party of gun hunters. Each of those parties has to have its own tags to sufficiently tag any animals killed by that weapon. You cannot use a gun tag on a bow kill or vice versa.
