Rumor has it that people are starting to get things stolen around area lakes. Seems that the thieves are pulling up to docks and off-loading motors,tackle,etc.

Keep a close eye if your out during the week days. And if someone pulls out of the water with some EXTRA equipment or more than you normally would have, make a note. And don't leave stuff out in the open not locked down. That is just an invite.

Equipment isn't getting any cheaper.

Great post Minners. "Confidence of others minding their own business" is something we definately take for granted being on the area lakes. I read one to many times on earlier post in other forums that people had robbed or mugged a someones rods, tackle, etc.

It really is to bad that people resort to this kind of thing, but we do need to aware of what is happening around our rigs when we are either getting the boat in the water or just pullin out for the evening.
