Any Spring-Run Steelies in the Brule?

I know this is Minnesota fishing forum, but I was wondering if anyone has caught a spring-run steelhead in the Brule yet. I was thinking about heading over this weekend, especially considering the weather forecast.

A guy I work with has caught two browns and one smallish steelie that was colored up, but so far no reports of a spring run. I'd appreciate any info.

I personally haven't fish it yet but many of my friends have.They have been catching alot of browns and some "fall" runners. i think with cold weather and the amount of snow in the woods (2ft.) the river levels are still down and the water temp.is alittle cold also i heard that the mouth is still full of ice I'd say give another week

Lowe we need more day's like yesterday with some rain mixed in. There may have been a trickle for a run last night but it is still early yet. 4/8/02

I looked at the forcast this morning 4/9/02. With the warmer day's and night's along with rain It looks good for this weekend.

I did catch 1 25 1/4 that was fresh opening weekend went out yesterday after all this warm weather and rain the river is real high and muddy
