Heading up to Lake Mary. Any reports from the weekend?

I personally did not get on the lake but heard nothing but bad reports from most, there were a few that caught some eyes, very few it seemed to me. Good luck to ya

We hit Mary Saturday morning from about 10 until 1. Fished the east side and picked up one small walleye and one smaller northern - both released. Fishing in 9-10 FOW. Saw another boat in the same area pick up several walleyes. Little Mary was packed full of boats.

Hit Andrew Lake Saturday night and managed one 6# northern in the shallows. No walleyes but supposedly they were starting to hit out there but it looked pretty slow.

was on mary sat,sun and mon. We had some good fishing here and there. Had the most luck with lindy rig and leaches but we also got some eye with minnows. We got about 10 keepers through the weekend. We had the most luck on the eastern end about 7 to 8 feet of water. We backtrolled and drifted. I saw most people out farther and it didn't look like they got much. I think the key is slow,shallow and small. The water was between 57 and 59. Good luck!

We fished Mary for 5 to 6 hours on Saturday, and were only able to catch 1 small walleye trolling a Little Joe and Minnow in Little Mary. We did get one nice bass on Lindy and Crawler. We only saw a handful of fish caught. I hope the water warms up for you.

Just fished Mary Fri to Sunday. Late afternoon and evening seemed best. Tons of boats trolling deep for eyes, went with the crowd but it was slow and tedious. We caught more in shallow. Sunday late afternoon till 9:30pm caught a mixed bag of eyes, bass, rockies, gills and crappie in 5 to 7 feet casting the weed edge on the east side of lake. Wind was blowing right in there. Had a group on a pontoon and caught fish constantly for 3 or 4 hours. Got 'em on both slip bobbers and jigs. Saturday with wind and rain was terrible, tried deep and shallow and in between. Water temp had dropped 4 degrees since Friday night when we had better luck. Caught crappie right in the pencil reeds, bass right with them. Flip minnows in there and you'll get both. Caught stuff on crawlers, leeches , fatheads and shiners. When they were hitting, it didn't matter. When they weren't, it didn't matter either. Warmer water'll probably mean a good bite on crawlers.
