Here's some general information on Rachel (from the sportmens connection maps):

FISHING INFORMATION: The bigger of these two lakes, Rachel, is fairly cold and has an average depth of about 30 feet. It is noted most for its Northern Pike, which are fairly abundant and show good reproduction year after year. This is a fairly clear lake that doesn’t have much of a weedline. Still that’s where you’ll find the Northerns, cruising the edges looking for forage fish. Because of the water clarity, you can probably do best with live bait, slow-trolling the edges with a lip-hooked shiner or crankbaits. Northerns will spend daylight from mid-June on in deeper waters, returning to the weeds and flats at night. Walleyes are far from abundant in spite of frequent stocking efforts by the Department of Natural Resources. You will do best fishing in deeper waters, going down farther as the summer progresses. Again, live bait is probably your best bet. Interestingly enough, there seem to be plenty of Largemouth Bass in spite of the lack of weeds. The bigmouths are not especially big, though in this case because the water tends to be cool.
