Fall Trip??

We would like to plan a Fall trip to Millie. Could anyone suggest when they feel the best time to come up for a week? Would like to make reservations ASAP.

You'll start seeing more posts about this soon, but the best action seems to be during the full moon. Most guys are trolling large stickbaits after dark.

...it's almost considered a sin to miss it if you're a serious walleye angler!

Joesuits, The October full moon period is a safe bet to plan a trip. The last 2 years we have had good success into November, but if your planning a trip now I would stick to the full moon. The fish will tell you what they want and you can bet they will show a preference on any given night.

As we approach this magical time of year. I'm sure other members here will get into colors, sizes, and differnt cranks that work for them, but as a general rule of thumb use chromes during full moonlight and dark colors during cloudy nights.
