i am going to be coming up next weekend and i was wondering how the fish are biting on the north end. i want to go out of wealthwood public access to the flats.

I am wondering how things are going this week as well, I am planning on heading up on Friday. Is anything going on at Sliver? Mainly aiming for perch, but if we happen upon some eyes that is fine by me, any info would be great!

Plan on using the resort roads for getting out to the flats on the north end. In going past the Wealthwood Access last weekend it looked like the only travel out of there had been by snowmobile. It's not the snow depth that will limit you but the ice ridges. Once you get past those I would recommend either a 4-wheel drive or a snowmobile if you plan out going off the resort roads. With a 4-wheel drive the thing you have to watch out for is old crusted snow under the fresh snow, you can get stuck in that if you are not careful. By the way fishing wasn't all that great. One nice jumbo and a couple of 'eyes lost on the way up. All the 4-inch perch you could ever want too.

I will be going out of Myr Mar on Friday. How are the roads on the north end for travel?

Accessed the lake from the north side this weekend. Myr Mar has some excellent fishing out of there access. The personality of the two guys at the resort is the worst I have seen on the lake. Will stick to the East side from now on.
