Ice Thickness-Auger extension

Can anybody tell me how thick the ice is up there. Wondering if I need to get an extension for my auger. I have a Jiffy 10". Thanks

I know where there's a nice icehouse for cheap daily rent on the western half of URL. Holes are predrilled so there's no need for an extension. There's no other fishermen within 3 miles of this spot and the crappies there are suicidal. How thick is the ice, I was up there last weekend and did fine with the normal auger bit. I know that the cold weather would have created some extra ice, but that would be like 3 inches a day, 24" extension seems like a little much. Did it snow that much??

I haven't needed an extention yet. But this will be my first trip up there (next weekend) I thought 24" was a little much too. I cannot find anything bigger than a 12" extension anyways. wall eyell be thanks for the offer but I have a good connection up there already. Send a signed blank check???
