I am going to Sd again this spring. I have been hunting SD ever since the spring season started. I am fortunate in that over the years I have gained access to alot of land in Sd right in the heart of there spring migration travel routes. I've always wanted to hit Nebraska around the rain water basin area but save my self for SD. A guy gets pretty tired and beat up when spending around 2 weeks hunting spring snows. Scouting is a must for a good field shoot. There is alot of windshield time involved when scouting active fields. Then there's the decoys I usally set 500 plus shells and windsocks and try to move to diferent fields each day so alot of work gets involved and the nights can get mighty short. But the rewards are always worth it!!!!!!

Good luck in MO and keep us posted on how your hunt goes!!!!

Mo is where we start. Then we hunt them here in MN. We wont get the huge kill numbers here like we do in MO but we still kill a few. We put out anywhere between 100-800 decoys all depending what we think will work that day.

Going to add more decoys this year.

I am looking for a blue phase ross this year. I would also like a nice pair of ross for the wall.

Not many people hunt snows in MN. I don't think they get much pressure here so I think they decoy a lot better from what I can tell.
