Possession limit

Recommended Posts

A couple of friends are on the lake right now and they are having a "dispute" over it. Now does that mean that on their way home they can only be in possession of each of their daily limits no matter how many days they fish?

Thanks,

Granny

You are right, in Minnesota your daily limit and your possession limit are the same. If you caught your limit one day and had them for dinner that night you could catch another limit the next day.

Granny,The daily limit of fish is equal to the possession limit. It really means that you can have a daily limit of fish at home in the freezer and until you eat them you can't keep any more while fishing. This rule probably makes 90% of all fishermen guilty of over the limit. Catch em, eat em is the only way to stay above the law. Good Fishing DrJ.
