LX-3

Recommended Posts

One Shot,

I made another call to our friend tonight after I read your message. He's out fishing on Balsam - go figure.

I'll try to get moving a little harder on that one.

I'll let you know when and how much when I get a chance to talk to him.

Hey, give me a call on my cell tomorrow. I've got a little something for you and Sherrie. I'll be around the area and can stop up at the store when you're around.

Thanks again for having us up at your place. We'll have to do it again some time soon. I already have the itch real bad.

i havent heard anything about them releasing another model anytime soon, however I would assume that they would try and add something since vexilar has added a transducer capable of going through the aluminum hull of a boat to their product list....its only natural to think that marcum and lowrance are going to try something for next season...but who knows...im pretty happy with my LX-3

Tillie,

Just curious as to why you would ask that? What seems to be wrong with the current model?

Paul,

I'm going to buy one. I didn't want to spend the money and then have a better unit introduced.

Paul,

I purchased a LX-3 and you were correct. The unit is far superior to anything I have used before.

Thanks,

tillie

Tillie,

Glad that you like it. I have yet to have someone buy one and not like it.

The only problem I have encountered with my LX-3 is in soft water... there seems to be no adapter to a universal minnkota sonar plug.... other that that it has worked great..

Just got a new LX-3. Like it a lot! Only complaint is that you have to continually adjust the zoom when fishing the bottom 5 feet and hole hopping to different depths. Anyone else see this as an inconvienence? Would be nice if when you would turn on the zoom it would lock on the bottom rather than the top 5 feet each time. Would save time from having to push and hold the down button while it scrolls to the bottom 5 feet. I would rather work my way up the water column instead of always going down the column.
