four mile bay in march

it is my understanding that four mile bay has different restrictions than the rest of the lake come march 1st. i also understand four mile bay ends at pine island. so my question is; say, sometime in march, you drove out of adrians, across pine island and caught a legal limit of walleyes outside the boundries of four mile bay, and returned crossing four mile bay to get back to shore, would that be illegal??

That is a good question. I'm not sure on that.

How about fishing Buffalo bay with a full limit of 6, and 1 over 22 inches. Legal coming back across the border?

I would think so... but??

Any DNR folks lurking about?

Yes it's totally legal, you just have to head to your destination and don't stop for any reason except if your broke down.
