Just returned from LOW

I fished Sat. and Sun. out of Bay View. Some of my friends went through the ice on Fri. No one hurt, but lost some gear. Pretty scary conditions in the bay, The group ahead of us went through on Sun. morning. The fishing was fantastic if you can make it past Pine Island. Many permant houses out there. On Sat we fished in 23 ft. and caught over a hundred fish. Mostly walleyes, but plenty of saugers too.Biggest 24". Several 18". Sunday about 75 fish.

After you crossed pine which direction did you guys head out. I went straight out and set up in 20' of water and had similar catching results but not the size of fish like you caught though. Glad to hear everyone in you party was safe that is the important thing.

We headed somewhat out and left quite a ways, sorry I don't know my directions at that point. but the guys who were shallower than us didn't do as well.

Alright I will keep that in mind. I heading back this weekend hopefully I can get into some size, but if not hopefully I can get some of the same quanity that I caught this past weekend.
