I wish i coulda got out there earlier, my truck is broke down, and i had to wait for lakewinds to get done with a few deliveries. By the time we got there and bs'ed with outdoor nut for a little while you fellas were pulling the pin. There's always next time. Who took the buck for biggest fish?

Even though it was windy it was awsome just to see the sun! Didn't catch any fish but thats why they call it fishing and not catching, right. Quick, I had a great time in the shack. Cheffry I didn't get to meet you but I was blown away by your generosity. Thanks to Northlander for the ride out. I have been swamped with final tests at school and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thinking about heading out to pike around two, just because it is close. I know I will probably just catch a load of perch but I could care less. I hope it is a calm night because I don't have a working ice shack right now. Thanks everyone for the great time and the refreshing slushys!

Hey guys glad you all had a good time and left me a few beverages for my recovery, Pretty sure I had a good bout of food poisining as I was just getting back to normal last night. Alright we need to get anothere one of these going so that I can enjoy some of your company. Steve any chance of a Poutfest in the near future? Oh yeah, nevermind I don't have a Saturday off until Burntside. Maybe a Sunday would work.

i would be interested in trying out grand tommorrow. i've never fished it before so it would be nice to be out there the same time as someone has. what do you ussualy target in grand? i assume walleyes or crappies?

I guess i kinda jumped the gun. I've got too much stuff going on tomorrow to sneak out fishing. Two finals tomorrow, plus one thursday at 8am that i haven't even begun to study for, and i should probably do my christmas shopping too . I thought i might be able to sneak it in, but it looks like it was just wishful thinking. I'll be outta town for christmas, but i should be back by the wednesday after. Looks like a long strech of fishless days I guess that just means i'll have some fishing time to make up, hmmm sounds like i got a new year's resolution

Wormburner don't take it the wrong way, I don't mess around in the kitchen. It's when I get home then that becomes the problem. I have a cooler full. i.e. "Mystery cooler" a lot of left over's from various trips this summer. Hot-Cold-Hot-Cold, plus not washing off the cans prior to drinking after sitting in coolers all summer got me in a world of hurt. Don't try this at home kids! ST & Quick I am up for grand, I just found out one of my partners on the permanent is going to put it out on that lake. I would like to know more about that body of water. Like I said I'll be available to be on the ice by 3pm. If you are up for some newbie action ST then count me in. Quick let me know where to pick you up. Same for you Frank, where do you want to meet?

I also wanted to say a big thanks for the pub and grub on the ice last saturday, wish you were able to have been there to enjoy it with us. The ale ended up looking alot like big root beer floats in the mugs with the wind/cold temps

The brats were great, really warmed the hands up, and tasted fantastic on the grill.

A big thanks to Northlander too for all the event organization and prizes, we gotta do a Poutfest on the river once the ice is set! Good to see some old faces again, and to meet some new ones. One of these ice get-togethers has got to be in decent weather so we can bs outside a bit and not freeze our arses off
