Well I enjoyed my first Pool 4 trip of the season and found the bite so so for the vertical presentation. But I managed a 50 count fish day dominated by saugers with the usual 14 to 18 inchers making up a good portion of the catch. All caught on ringies (chartreuse)and there wasn't alot of pressure on the water. Best depth 21 to 27 feet.

I kept four to fry for dinner and they had such a sweet butter flavor, hard to put a finger on it but it almost just almost tasted like that good New Ulm butter? Not sure how that could be though...?

Keep catchin'
