Made it out yesterday afternoon on the mid section of Pool 2 (launched @ 494). Tried the airport, backwater, 494 hole, warm water discharge, rip rap, nothing! Saw some others, no eyes boated.

Finally stopped @ one wingdam for a few casts, my partner got a 25" eye and a 22" sauger. I was skunked, but it felt good to get him his biggest eye of the year and biggest sauger of his life.

I had heard that wingdams were the way to go right now, I just didnt have a lot of experience at them. Now I am kicking myself for not spending all my time on them.
