Fishing has been red hot the past week or so around Elm and Buffalo pt. for Walleye and Jumbos....The Perch fishing this past week has been unreal, ton's of 13-15 inchers. The prespawn pike bite is in high gear also along the south shore, alot of big ones are being caught, best pike bite for us has been in the late afternoon/evening hours using dead baits under tip-ups. The ice and access's look good to go for the next week or so anyway's???? The late season ice bite is some of the best fishing of the year, try it you'll like it!
Regards....Fisky

Just a heads up. I wouldn't plan on driving a pickup out of the Warroad jetty. I seen two vehicles buried to their axles yesterday in slush. They were walking into shore. Not a pretty sight.

The Warroad access last Friday was quite a sight, the underside of my truck has never been so clean, hard to beat mother natures truck wash.

Gotta love the late ice. Fished near elm last nite for about 2.5 hours. 2 little pike and an easy 30 eyes, no big ones, 17-18 inchers. They all looked like they came out of the same cookie cutter! Warmer weather coming finally it sounds like....Will the ice be off the mainlake by opener? Can't remember whether it was the spring of 94 or 95 when we still had ice on the mainlake at opener. I got a crew coming from Fargo tomorrow to do some pike fishing over the weekend, great pike fishing last week, and it should only be better this week.
Many flags to you all....Fisky
