Hey everyone. This is the fishing report that I have found for this past weekend. And fishing has been good to great all weekend long. With the late spring the area lakes are the same as they usually are in early June. Meaning that water temps and the way fish are biting are still acting like it is June 1st.

Blackduck has been producing many limits of Walleyes still. Fish are found in the 15-22 feet range. Slip bobber fishing with a leech has worked best for most. There are still a lot of 15 inch walleyes caught. Also crankbaits are starting to really produce as well.
Friday while fishing Blackduck we got into a school on Bluegills and crappies. Many of the Bluegills were 10 inches and also caught a 16 inch crappie.

Lake Bemidji:
Lake Bemidji on Saturday produced many limits of walleyes. Unfortunatly not many big fish. The Kraus Anderson Walleye Classic was this past saturday and many 14 - 16 inch fish were caught. A few anglers found some bigger fish, but regardless, a lot of liimits were caught.
Fish were in 15-26 feet in Lake Bemidji. Everything from crawlers to Shiners were working to catch fish.

Good Luck to all.

Don't take me wrong, I'm not anti-technology.  Battery powdered items will always have their place.  I'm mean you don't want your girl friend or wife in the bedroom playing for their gas powered adult toys!!  That would be a bit loud and smokey!

That’s right. My 84 year old dad loves his electric chain saw. Light weight and quiet. Besides, at his age he’s not cutting a bunch. Where as myself I want something with more power and heavier duty.  Look at how many people have switched back to gasoline cars after running one in winter if you travel a lot.   As long as my strike master works I’ll keep using gas. Maybe my next will be electric, but who knows,  you can find used gas ones pretty reasonable as others buy electric.

I think electric items have their places, I just don't think large commercial jobs are going to be able to work well with them. Can't see a logging crew out in the woods all day changing batteries!
