West Rush Lake Trash

I was at west rush lake today. I heard it was a good crappy lake. I was disapointed at the amount of TRASH left on the lake. I was by several Islands. lots of houses.both perminent and portables. It sure looks like a nice place, but there is going to be a lot of crap on the shore lines if it don't get picked up. I hope some locals can do something . I took a minnow bag of trash home my self. Its our waters and shore lines people.

Just wanted to thank you guys for picking up others trash. I spend a lot of time on East it's not as bad over there but I'm constantly picking up trash also. It is unfortunate but we just have to make up for the slobs.

Thanks for helping to clean up guys!! Your da best! It seems especially bad this year because of the lack of snow to cover up the trash. The Lake Association has a clean up day at the end of the year and it is disgusting how much trash we pick up! If you see ANYONE out on the lake leaving anything, feel free toeducate them! Or, If you do not want to confront them, take down the name on the shack, or the licenses number and report this to the CO Leland Owens. His number is (763)753-7484. We are SICK to death of these so called sportsmen! The Lake association is thinking of using GPS coordinates on ice shacks, taking the info, and contacting Leland if there is trash left behind. It is dispicable for these people to take our public waters and dump there trash!! Many of you may remember that some IDIOT left a pile of construction debris at the public assess this summer. That case is still open and we are still looking for any Information. In fact the Lake Association has a reward set up for any info that leads to an arrest!

So too any of you people that insists on leaving there garbage on the lake! We are WATCHING you!

Thanks cory for the info. My son and I spent the day on w rush. Sun. 1/11/04 He said to me Dad you are having a hard time with this trash issue today . But it was still a good day with my best fishing buddy. I wish we lived closer together to spend more time. Im sure he see the valu in picking up after him self I see him doint it at our summer camp on white face. Later Nels
