Seems odd to say that when everyone else is grousing about low water, but I heard from reliable sources that Pokegama, Cross, and Fish Lake (Mora) were over their banks. Anyone know about Rush, Goose, Ann, or Knife? I know there was a bunch of rain a week ago, but it surprised the heck out of me that these lakes popped up that fast.

I heard from a local farmer right after that rain, that there is still frost in the ground 2' down. There had to be 3" or more of rain plus an inch of snow out that system last week and weekend. It had to run off into the lakes because the ground could not take it. I'm sure that after this last week that most of that frost disapeared. On Wed. afternoon I heard a local on Rush say that it went up 6-8". I'm not sure about that because I did not see the lake before all the rain.

I fished Knife last weekend and it was normal and not flooding any of the accesses.
