I fished East Rush last two winters for crappies and did well. The crappies in this lake are real nice size. I haven't fished West Rush, I'm sure it's similar. Best time to fish is 4-6pm. Go out from Rush Lake Resort and find water 15-18 feet. Stay close to bottom with small cappie minnows or waxies. Expect to pick up mostly small perch as well. The shallower you are the more likely to pick up walleyes (13-14ft) but the ones I have caught have all been 14in and under. Nice size sunfish can be found during the day, South end of the lake shallower.
