If the wind is blowing fish the tops & the top edges for the gravel. (Windy 24 to 27 feet). If your dealing with a glass surface check the deep side of the edges.

In calm conditions, run your boat out a couple hundred yards in the deep water while watching your graph. We have found eyes 8 to 10 feet off the bottom in 32 - 34ft of water at NIGHT. During the day the fish have been a couple feet off the bottom in the deeper water. We've been trolling small spinners & leeches (#00 size spinner with #8 hooks) Color didn't seem to matter much, but keeping your weight within about a foot of the bottom did.
