Fish still biting

Fished Norway on Wed. afternoon and had real good luck. Lots of ice and no people. Wish it could be like that more often.

Crappies or sunnies? Are you walking out or driving out?

I went out by 4 wheeler. Have to go through about a foot of water at the access but once you get out, there's lots of ice. May want to keep an eye out for any holes that have opened up but I didn't see any and I covered a lot of lake searching. I found kind of a mixed bag. The first spot I found fish was small perch and sunnies and what I think were baby sheephead (about 3" long, mostly silver with mouth pointed down?). I moved in a little shallower and started catching sunnies and crappies. Some of the crappies were good sized but nothing like earlier this year. Even caught a 14 and 22' walleye. Everything was caught on waxworms.

I was going to try Norway yesterday p.m. but I went to Andrew instead. Wasn't up to the longer walk in that wind. Easy on at Andrew. fishing so-so. A few sunnies, nothing real fast but it didn't totally suck either. It's nice that it's finally warming up but every year I hate to see the end of this
ice-panfishing.

Florida not much for sunnies. But we release alot of bass. Two were close to four lbs. other nine one-two lbs. All in about 2hr. of fishing. Wed. afternoon LOTS OF FUN
