Recommended Posts

The Rampage is just AWESOME by all accounts! I have been chained down here stateside and unable to road trip North but not for long! Just can't take it anymore!!

Friends from points south caught and released 12 over 12 and a 14 and more 8-10's then I care to think about right now!

OK-so if you were not restless before chances you are NOW! I run out of fingernails last Monday!

For a good view of the region check this link, very good satellite shots of the area!

If anyone dare's a peek?

Don't say I didn't warn ya! It will get ya!

So Ed, did ya get up to Pine Falls yet? Much as I hate to admit it, I haven't been up yet-- and time's getting away from us fast. Been a great fall for fishing weather, though. Who knows, maybe November will bring more fun in the sun. I'm always ready.

Yep, was there last week, found wind and big ass waves!

Moved to Selkirk caught a 13 fist trolling pass then nota, just 50000000000 sauger eating my bait up. Two or three smaller walleye but I missed the boat by a day was the word.

Other then that 1 monster Drum, 18 lb. on a Shad Rap, that had my heat going a bit as it was at night about 10:00 and I was sure it was Miss Piggy, wrong again! Then there was a 34" cat that played the same game on me, again no Miss Piggy frown.gif

Still searching, always will be I think?

I'll be back!

Don't take me wrong, I'm not anti-technology.  Battery powdered items will always have their place.  I'm mean you don't want your girl friend or wife in the bedroom playing for their gas powered adult toys!!  That would be a bit loud and smokey!

That’s right. My 84 year old dad loves his electric chain saw. Light weight and quiet. Besides, at his age he’s not cutting a bunch. Where as myself I want something with more power and heavier duty.  Look at how many people have switched back to gasoline cars after running one in winter if you travel a lot.   As long as my strike master works I’ll keep using gas. Maybe my next will be electric, but who knows,  you can find used gas ones pretty reasonable as others buy electric.

I think electric items have their places, I just don't think large commercial jobs are going to be able to work well with them. Can't see a logging crew out in the woods all day changing batteries!
