River report

I fished a trib again last night and we did alright. After about 1 1/2 hours of fishing we got two small northerns, two nice (2 lb +) eyes, and one 5 lb. cat. We also missed a lot of bites. A little early for the area we were in, but we managed a few fish and had a good time.

The Red has been pretty tough as of late.. Water temps are 62*. Pretty cold for this early in the year.. Wonder what that is going to do to the new fry that was just spawnd so late in the year??? humm cant be good..

Went out today and boated about 10 cats, biggest was about 6#. Boy they are getting real fussy..

Fished last night for a little while. Took two bosses out for fun. One's a walleye guy and the other's a non-fisherman. The beer was cold and we had a great time. Got a few cats to cooperate. Biggest was around 6 or 7 lbs- nothing huge, but plenty to get a rise outta a couple non-catters.
