Fargo north dam Driving conditions

Hey anybody who is out there would appreciate the conditions on the MN side of the North Dam can you drive down there at all and park or are people coming from somewhere else.
Thanks got the itch just don't want to drive down there and get stuck.
Also Scoot you answered a question a while back about asking for permission on the Wild Rice do you do it at the bar or somewhere else.

I was at the north dam last night and it was getting pretty sloppy down close to the water. I parked near the top and walked down form there. You could maybe make it in a four wheel but I wouldn't try it.
