When they will be placing the riprap/rock at the dam at Drayton as they have at other Red river dams?

I don't know the answer to this question, Fisky, but I do know who will. Ed Carlson probably has caught wind of this, but he's been awol for a little bit- sounds like he's really busy. River Keepers in Fargo will know the answer. I'll try give them a call for you and see what they say.

I spoke to Bob at River Keepers here in town-he's a wealth of information.
It doesn't sound good for the Drayton dam getting done anytime soon. The South dam in Fargo is next in line starting this coming winter. Then, the Hickson dam and the Christine dam are most likely next in line. Finally, the Drayton dam would be last in line.
Sounds like the Corps is doing a survery/study now on the dam to see if there is "slippage" of the dam structure on the ND side. The findings of this study could impact the order of the dam reconstruction. However, even if they decide it needs reconstruction soon, somebody needs to foot the multi-million dollar bill. In Fargo, over a dozen sources come together to pay the tab. Not sure who would do it in Drayton.
