Thanks Bruce, I wanted to illustrate that shore fishing has it's benefits as well as if you do put the boat away early be sure to keep the rods handy.

I had Mike McFreely the Outdoors reporter from the Fargo Forum out on a walk about on a few prime river spots on both the Red and on the Sheyeene. He saw first hand how my pet hoppers draw in fish. We had fish at our feet munching away on frogs, he hooked a bunch of fish and he is a believer now.

It is a GREAT weekend with the beautiful full harvest moon glowing up in the night sky, and the fish are on the prowl.

Mike McFeely did all the work, I just had to go fishing, so it was a no-brainer for me.

Mike is a good guy, likes to fish and he found the rivers a fun new game to check out. He was a easy sell on "Frog Flinging" once a cat darn near ripped the rod from his hands.
