Scoot, thanks for message. I did go down to the river and did some casting. I sort of gave up bait fishing. I've been developing spinnerbait patterns for pike and muskie over the past couple of years. I retired one spinnerbait that I caught 100 pike on between MN and canada.
The river seems to be up about a foot. The bank was getting slippery. (did the splits)The rain and chill sent me packing after about 45 min. i went below the 12th ave bridge and cast for a bit. No luck.Lots of stuff in the water. I figure I'll wait till next week to try again. Thanks again!
