Fargo/Moorhead boat ramps update (AM) 5/19/01

Recommended Posts

The midtown dam ramps were partially cleared, downstream ramp was mostly silted in yet and the upstream ramp was completely silted in and wet yet with the barricades still up at the Mid Town entrance as of this morning.

The status of the M.B.Johnson Park access in Moorhead is the gate remains locked to enter the MBJ Park ramp. Clean up is in stages and the Fargo Moorhead crews are doing a good job as the silt dries enough to extract easily.

The Convent landing is open and usable but a large amount of silt in the ramp makes it a chore to work with yet. I am sure as the water levels fall further cleanup will be done.

I should get word on ramps in the lower Red this Sunday from the DNR creel clerks working the region from Fargo to the border, will update when advised to the conditions.
