I got an 8 lb eye at the dam when I was a wee lad. I caught it on the bottom spillway too, and had to pull it up hand over hand about 15 feet from the water. I remember being mad because it was a day before season and I couldn't keep it.

Since then I've become a bit more learned given the same opportunity during season, I would gladly throw that 8 lber back all over again.

I caught a 29in. on valentines day lost one about 5-6lb.caught to 8s this winter.

I have not fished over there in TRF but would like to one day soon...

We have taken Eyes out of Crookston from 10-13#... Biggest was 33"... Wife caught that one of course... Two days in a row we got a 11# and a 13# fall of 2002... 2003 biggest was a 8#.

Would be nice if some of them nice eyes and Pike from RedLake would venture over here..

We have also gotten two Muskies in the dam here in the past.. I got my first Muskie this winter through the ice..it was about6-7#...that was pretty cool...No idea where they are comeing from???????????
