I took a drive out to Farmers pool and took a look. what do you hunt. the half mile to the white signs??? did see some geese out there, but was wondering if thats what everyone hunts. kept driving down that road and then saw the lost elm lake orsomething like that. you just take a boat or canoe up in there in hunt or what. any advice would be greatly apprecaited.

Farmers pool had a few groups out there for the opener, you could see where guys were hunting(blind locations), one is really close to the road.

We hunted the Lost/Elm part on Sunday/Monday. One group had put in and hunted that bigger expanse of open water, we opted to canoe down the ditch east about a mile till it opened up a little. We got some shooting in, some flocks flew the ditch, others would come from the refuge. Farmers looked good, but also looked to be a little work to get out there, not to mention plenty of others were hunting Farmers. We had no competition within a mile of us on Lost/Elm. Good Luck
