Catfish

are there any in the river either above the dam or beneath it. i am pretty sure i caught a small one 4 in. but have yet to see or hear of any that are fun to catch. might try this week after school is done want ot know if its worth it.

Not much for cats up this way. Although there are some, the majority are towards the Crookson area. Here in the river there are little fish called willow cats. Sometimes these get confused with channel cats. There are a lot in the 4 inch range and the walleyes feed heavily on these. This past spring there was a huge kill on the willow cats. You would see hundreds of these cats laying dead on the bottem
