Hey Curt,

Long time no talk! I don't know if you've been monitoring the Red River forum, but I had my first taste of river fishing, and I enjoyed it. We hauled in kitty's by Drayton raning from 7-19lbs. Fun stuff. My first cat ever was the big 19 lber. We tried the dam right in Crookston the next day (last week) and caught several 3-6 lbs kitty's...nothing else. Two more trips up to LOW planned, Sioux Narrows this weekend, and Oak in October...well, then one more for late water to south side, then early ice, then..... smile.gif

Hemlock,

Odds are good we wont bump into each other
on the lake since you fish up where the
scenery is on LOW.

I was over and fished the Red at Oslo earlier
in the year. I like the Cat fishin' but finding the time is the real catch.

I am looking forward to the fall fishing
and then further out to the ice already.

Have a great fall

Curt,

Thanks to you and your excitement about late river fishing, I pulled one of our smaller Lund's back from the lake to give that a try in late fall. Can't wait! When is the best time to hit the river in the fall?
