Maple on Saturday

Fished maple on Saturday afternoon. Although I only caught 3 crappies, a lot of guys around me did real well. Those with Vexilars really cleaned up. Had to use glow jigs, as the bite didn't start until 5:30 or so. never heard of a walleye being caught-all crappies.

Where is the best place to fish Maple for Crappies?

Are there any sunfish being caught?

Can't help with the sunfish, I'm sure you'd need a vexilar for them also. Everyone by us caught crappies and a few walleyes. We were fishing on the point by the Inn on Maple Crossing in probably 11-12 feet of water. There's quite a few houses set up there. If you have a vexilar, you'll catch more fish, as the crappies were caught at different depths. Good Luck
