Big Pine off of 18

My buddy just bought some land in the area around Pig pine off of 18. What can we expect as far as the fishing goes? Any help or tips would be great, thanks

Though I've never fished it, I live in the area and have heard that those in the know use it as a good back-up for walleyes when the wind gets too high on Mille Lacs. Ask at Tutts' Bait And Tackle in Garrison, they're close to the lake and probably have the low down on it. Good Luck.

I think you are getting the two pine lakes confused. I am talking about Big Pine Lake, off of highway 18, just west of finlayson, about 5 miles from I-35....I think you're thinking of the pine lake on the west side of mille........
