Ice

So what has this warm weather and southerly winds done to the ice conditions in the great north woods. Just wondering because I have the next 5 days off and am thinking of heading to the cabin on French and doing some fishing. Will be using a 4 wheeler to drag stuff out with. Just checking to see if the ice on area lakes will be ok.

There was 13 inches of ice on Saturday, with about 1-2" of water on top.

They were driving trucks on the lakes as well. I am certain that 4 wheeler travel will be safe still.
