Aitkin reports?

Has any one been fishing on Aitkin for those crappies lately? Any info on how the bite is would be great.

The water temps are dropping and alot of area lakes are in turnover. Temps average about 57-59 degrees.

Look for the Crappies suspended over the main lake holes, and closer to the bottom on the edges of the breaklines and holes.

Small minnows seem to be working best, on small feather jigs, either vertical jigging, or under a slip float set about 2-3' above the school.
