best patern / bait presentation for opener

Recommended Posts

I think it varies with lake to lake but I usually start with minnows and if the water isn't too cold I will try leeches. I think the key with whatever bait you use is slow, very slow.
Good luck,
Nels

What depths do you guys think well be working for the opener? I was thinking rocky shore lines in the 12' to 15' range during the day. At night or if it happens to be overcast maybe 6' to 10' will be the ticket. Also I will be most likely pulling Lindys and other live bait riggs. Good luck to all you fishermen and women this weekend. Remember cathing fish is just a bonus. .....GO WOLVES....
