Boot Lake

Taking the family to Half Moon Trail Resort on Boot Lake in August. Does anyone have any info. on fishing this lake.

I haven't fished Boot lake for about 10 years. We stayed at Half Moon Trail Resort for about 6 consecutive years. We were usually up there for the week of the 4th. What I remember of it is that is was a good walleye lake. Over those 6 years we caught a few 8lb and a few 10lb.ers. We fished the sunken island at I believe that it would be the North end by the boat launch. We picked up the big ones lindying along the shore just passed Fun Ta Boot resort. The Northern pike and panfish were also fairly abundant straight out from where you are staying along the opposite shoreline in the reeds. Have fun it is a nice resort.
