Spring prognosis?

Leaving for Park Rapids area in four weeks. Planning two weeks fishing on 5th & 6th Crow Wing for Crappie, Bluegill, Bass, Northerns, and whatever else we can entice.

What’s the local prognosis for spring and for fishing the last week of May and the first week of June in that part of the world?

Last year we were there for one week in the middle of June. I’ve fished 5th and 6th Crow Wing Lakes for over 45 years but always in late summer. Last year was the first time in the spring - caught a lot of really nice Crappie and Bluegill.

What should we do different in the spring from how we fish in August / early Speptember? Especially for bass – didn’t fish for bass last year – but also for other fishes?
