When to come in the spring?

I realize you folks in Minnesota are probably not thinking much about spring, or maybe you are, but here in the Pacific Northwest it's 50 deg. and raining and we never stop thinking about fishing.

I am coming to 5th Crow Wing this spring and can come the last week of May/first week of June or the second/third week of June.

Last year I was there the thirs week of June, the fishing was good - big crappies and bluegills, nice northern - but I need some advice. Given my options, when would you recommend I come this year?

Without snow cover so far we might have an early spring(hope I dont jinx it now).
I pesonally like early June especially for shallow walleyes after dark do very well. But I think you wont go wrong anytime as long as you are out on the water.
