looking for resort to stay at for a few days. the wife wants to see the start of the river, us boys want to go fishing. just a few names and #'s would help a lot..

Breezy point in Osage. Great place.

Shady Lawn Resort (you'll have to find the number) on Fifth Crow Wing (also access to Sixth Crow Wing), in Nevis, near Park Rapids. Good Fishing, nice lake, and the owners are great, really nice people. It's also not far from the headwaters for the ladies.

I've stayed at Big Timber Lodge on 3rd Crow Wing.

pretty much everything was full on short notice, did find a place on belle taine, did very well on bass and small sunfish. it kept the kids happy. my oldest said he was could say he had his fill of catching that many fish. verry good trip
