Crow Wing Lakes 2,3 or 4

Recommended Posts

I'm planning a trip with my Family to Crow Wing 3 next week with my family. Does anyone have any helpful hints/tips on the fishing on Crow Wing 2,3 or 4? In the past, I've been able to find Bass in the shallows. I was hoping for info related to Panfish and/or Walleyes?

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Jeff

my family stays at sunny point resort during june each year. it is located on second crow wing. we usually have our best luckfor walleyes fishing the sunken islands on 3rd or the two points that are straight across from each other on 3rd. we troll with lindy rigs and leeches. sunnies are usually hit and miss. there are a lot of small ones and everyonce in awhile youll get into some keepers. try the shoreline on the south end of 2nd or the southern shoreline of the middle tear or 3rd. use either leeches or waxies with a plain hook. 4th crow wing is a sure bet for pike. your have to contend with a lot of weeds so either cast with spinners or fish with large sucker minnows. hope this can help.

I just heard today that the panfish are bitting good in 14 feet of water on all the Crow Wing lakes you asked about.
