Lake George Area

Going to be staying at Lake George June 5th for about 1 week.
I saw another message about Bass.
Any good Bass Holes near George?
What types of fish are most common in that Lake?

DCG, Lake George is an all around lake. There is a little bit of everything. It has been noted for exceptional largemouth bass fishing, but it is not as prolific as the past. The east end of the lake should be the area to scout out in June, there are some large 4-7' flats that should be holding largemouth that time of year. It can be a good walleye lake, and panfish are numerous but they tend to be on the smaller side. Sunfish can always be found. One thing about George is that you can always seem to find something biting, it may not be want you want but they are there.
