I am going to be trying Pokegama again this year for walleye and was wondering how people have been doin out there? I have heard some reports and they have been good. But i want to know how deep and what they have been using for bait?
Any Ideas? Thanks

The reports are true. Walleye fishing has been good on Wabana, Pokegama, Bass and Splithand. Good reports of numbers of fish with plenty of big ones to keep you happy. My group had good numbers of fish with the biggest being 9.5 lbs.

Hot depths were from 16 to 25 feet. Dawn until 10 am and 3:30 to 5:30 in the evening.

Kinda surprised that a guy that wants to slam on people about catching fish in the easy spots wouldn't know how to catch fish on Pokegama. Try the bar that's straight across and a little to the right from the landing on the Wendigo road where the fish houses are in around 21 ft. People are catching them there right now from about 2:30 to 5:30.
