Early Eagle Lake Crappies

How is the crappie bite on Eagle on scenic 7 over the opener weekend. I know it's hot come July and August, but I haven't heard much about early season. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey Iron Man,
I know that I am a little late, but I just read your posting. I do not know about the Crappies. I have friends that live on that lake and I go up there when ever I get the chance. Over the years that I have been there, I have only been able to find the crappies once. My Friends up there have told me that the crappies are hard to get in the summer, but they mostly go for the Eyes and Northerns. Mostly been able to catch notherns. No complaints with them though. Do you have a secret little crappie place on the lake that you might be able to share? Do you live up there or cabin it? I have some other friends that live up there that have been able to share a few of their honey holes with me. I that area up there, my home away frome home. I do not get up there as much as I like or as much as I used to, but someday it will just be my home.
