Bowstring on opener

try rush island arrowhead little turtle can hold some good early season crappie and all are close to bowstring.

The gang is heading up to Bowstring this year again for opener. Every year we come up Friday and try to find some crappies. (With not much luck). Anyone know of any other lakes close to Bowstring that might be worth our time to catch crappies or sunnies?

We did the Red Lake trip last year and Big Lake the year before but too much driving for a couple hours fishing.

tbone you can also try little ball club little cutfoot and big cut foot.there is some good panfish action early on there also
